Direkt- und Transfersiebdruck

From 20 or 100 pieces.

Direct Screenprinting

In the direct screenprinting process, the print colour is pressed through a, previously exposed, fine-meshed, screen onto the textile. Due to the set-up costs (film and screen), this print technique is only suitable for quantities from 20 to 100 pieces (or 100+ for 3+ colours).

Pro's and Con's at a glance:

+ High covering print with shining colours
+ washable, high durability
+ special colours (Pantone, Neon, Glitter) are possible

- set-up costs (per colour - 1 screen + 1 film)
- delivery times approx. 1 week
- personalization is only combinable with embroidery, Flex/Flock or DOG

Transfer screenprinting

Should you require the same motif (for example 200 - 300 pieces), yet you wish to remain flexible for on-demand enquiries - for example to see which motif should go on wich model, colour or size of shirts - then we recommend transfer screenprinting.

You have your one-off set-up costs (film and screen), however then you can place different motivs on the same transfer sheet, and can freely decide which (and how many of each) motif you wish to print on whicht textile(s). Remaining are only textile and application costs.

From 25 to 100 pieces.

2. Offset print technique

Offset Merchzilla

Offset printing combines the advantages of digital and screenprinting. The motif is printed in the offset technique (CMYK), mirror-inversed, on a special transfer foil. Thereafter white colour is screen printed onto the foil. These transfer foils are then pressen, under high heat, onto the desired textiles. The screen printed, white undercoat ensures that the motivs adheres firmly to the textile.

Due to the high complexity of this technique delivery times are approx. 3 weeks.

Data preperation

Motifs can be vector graphics or a picture. The fiile should be a JPEG, TIF, BMP or PDF, mut have a resolution of at least 300dpi (dots per inch) and be in CMYK. For the special white colour a so-called "white film" needs to be produced. This black layer cannot have any gradient and must be exactly the same size as the 4 colour motif.
